There are 3 ways we all can force transparency from the political elite.
Particpate - Everyone can participate in the People United Network and are not limited in ways. There will be local, and nationwide events that you can attend, and/or volunteer. If you are unable to attend, you can be vocal and let people know that the People United Network is here to forward the movement of government transparency and correction.
Donate - A movement of this magnitude will require support. The events are to spread awareness through gatherings and meetings. Fighting to get legislation is the key to create transparency. The People United will also be teaching people how to interact with lawmakers and to legislate. All of these things require financial participation. Therefore, the People United will be accepting donations, selling tickets to some events, and merchandise. Donations of all types are welcome and needed.
Legislate - The People United employs trained and seasoned citizens to promote and fight for legislation. Sending ideas for potential legislation will aspire us to build legislation to push to legislators. Also, we can help people, become part of a legislation process in a multitude of ways.

WASHINGTON — The Republican-controlled Senate on Friday night is expected to vote on whether to confirm Pete Hegseth, President Donald Trump’s controversial pick for defense secretary.
The 119th Congress has an unique opportunity to put the fiscal responsibility back in the hands of the people. A bill has been introduced that could potentially eliminate the IRS, and at least income taxes on tips, and overtime. Where is the catch? It is a state controlled sales tax implementation. That is the catch. What does that mean? It means that the dissolution of the IRS would save the citizens over 16 Billion annually in operation costs, eliminate convulated tax codes, and install a flat consumption tax.
As the People United, we are always for the citizens haviing more control. And, it appears this will do just that. The bill, introduced by Representative Earl "Buddy" Carter of Georgia is numerated as H.R. 25 in the 119th Congress.

SINGLE ISSUE (SUBJECT) IS BACK IN THE 119th CONGRESS.
One of the key elements to create transparency in the US Government is for everyone to know "what is in the bill". The easiest way to have that happen is for Single Issue Bills to become mandatory in legislation. Representative Brian Fitzpatrick of Pennsylvania has reintroduced this must pass legislation in the 119th Congress. This bill has been introduced as recently as the 118th congress and it was buried in judicairy.
How will this bill help with transparency? It is simple. If there is only one item in a bill representatives cannot pretend to support a policy and vote for against it under the guise of "what else is in the bill." With the single issue bill, representatives will then be exposed by a "yay" or "nay" vote.
This is imparitive to put control back where it belongs, with the people.
As of 2024, 43 states currently have passed and implemented a single subject or single issue legislation at the state level. It is long past time for the federal legislation to do the same.
To ensure that this bill is moved forward, citizens must assist teams like ours in this fight. The People United is currently communicating with legislation to try and get this bill passed. You can help too. Reach out to your congresspeople and senators and make your voice heard.
